The Batman Review

Welcome to Player One Finance, we will be reviewing The Batman which officially came out today.

I was lucky to get to see the movie a few days early, the Tuesday before it was officially out. On Facebook, my friend saw an ad for an early screening of the movie and purchased tickets. Shout out to Mark.

This movie is a must-watch.

Seriously, watch it before you continue reading!!

For a movie being almost 3 hours. It didn't feel like it was, there were no scenes that were rushed or felt like they were dragging the film.

The tone of the movie made it feel more dark about murder mystery, but there was a little humor. Enough that didn't affect the tone of the movie

I enjoyed every character, each of them had enough screen time. Before watching the movie, I had my doubts about Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman. But she killed it!

Both Riddler’s and Batman’s instructions were amazing in this film. The favorite was Batman’s, with that narration I got goosebumps watching that scene.

I was so happy to see this side of Batman portrayed on the big screen. He's always known in the comics as the greatest detective. I love that because he’s a hero who always uses his brain.

We get a Batman who’s been adapting to the vigilante lifestyle in his second year. Not one who is not trying to keep up with appearances as Bruce Wayne. He is consumed with vengeance and delivering justice. This Batman isn’t perfect his still learning, making mistakes, and even doubts if all he's trying to do is going to make a difference.

The fight scenes were good. The goons in the movie actually managed to get some good shots at Batman. But nothing compares to the warehouse scene from Ben Affleck's Batman. Pattinson’s Batman made me wonder how far is this Batman willing to go

All the villains were badass, there was no one villain who outshine the others in my opinion. My favorite was Riddler, but my friend Mark preferred Penguin.  Collin Ferrell did a great job as the Penguin that I completely forgot he was the one portraying the villain.

Ooh boy the Riddler, best one ever! Sorry Jim Carey!!! What a great and believable villain. It’s disturbing how realistically this happen. A demented man using social media to built a following and using the dark web to gather the necessary arsenal

Overall, it was great the movie wasn’t repeating Batman's origin story, instead, it was mentioned and even added things about the Wayne family never mentioned in other adaptations.

There's really nothing to complain about this month. I'm looking forward to the sequel

MOVIE SCORE 9.5/10
